CJ Egan-Riley has joined Marseille on a free transfer after rejecting a new contract at Burnley.
The 22-year-old was named in the Championship team of the season and Burnley last week said they had offered him a “significant long-term contract” but that he had “made the decision to pursue an opportunity in France”.
Marseille are managed by ex-Brighton boss Roberto de Zerbi and will be playing Champions League footba
England midfielder Angel Gomes, who had spent five years with fellow French side Lille, also joined Marseille earlier this week.
